We, the members of the Lay Organization, have sought to emphasize that our whole program is directed toward creating a feeling of trust and comradeship between the laity and the clergy. We have, and continue to strive to remove any fear that has permeated the minds of some of our ministers and laity that we desire to seize control of our Zion. Rather, we seek respectable participation in
all phases of our Church- at all levels. For neither of us can, by ourselves, truly live up to nor accomplish the dreams of our beloved founder, Richard Allen. Nor can we survive alone. But together, with Gods guidance, all things are possible.

We pray that within these pages you will find information that will guide and assist you in your daily walk. And that you will also find the strength and encouragement to press on when the load gets heavy and the road becomes rocky.

For the Bible tells us to "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6.
